Three-Ingredient Chia Flat Bread

This 3-ingredient chia flatbread is a simple and delicious recipe perfect for breakfast, snacks, or light meals. Made with pantry staples like oats and chia seeds, these easy flatbreads are packed with fibre, quick to prepare, and perfect for both sweet and savoury toppings.

Ingredients

  • 170 grams of oats

  • 10 grams of chia seeds

  • 500 mL of water

  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth

  2. Let mixture to sit for 15 minutes to thicken.

  3. Pour portions of the batter into a heated frying pan sprayed with oil

  4. Fry on both sides until golden and cooked through

  5. Serve warm with your favourite toppings and enjoy!

Customise it!

For a savoury option, top with Vegemite, eggs, avocado, or cheese. Prefer something sweet? Try peanut butter and honey with a pinch of salt.

This recipe makes 8 thin flatbreads, but thicker flatbreads work just as well for a more filling snack or meal option!
